Crush Your Days

 

Do you feel stressed, depressed, anxious or just simply tired all the time? Likely at some point most of us have been there but some experience this more than others. In fact, some of us have felt this way for so long that feeling like sh*t has become the norm.

Let’s change that.

We can easily lose sight of what it’s like to truly feel GOOD: to have energy, sleep well, have a sex drive, heightened mood and alertness, and the list can go on.

We become used to lower energy, poor sleep, a depressed mood and start to label these things as normal.

What if I told you it didn’t have to be that way? If you were shown a path that allowed you to feel AWESOME and crush life each and every day, would you follow it?

Here are the basics that can keep you feeling great each and every day:

Exercise: 3-5 times weekly, exercise moves blood through the body, stimulates the cardiovascular system, challenges you physically and mentally and releases awesome chemicals in your brain called endorphins. Vary your intensity throughout the week. You shouldn’t be going 100% every day!

Food: Meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no (added) sugar. Eat food that supports activity but not body fat. Food is your fuel; use it to nourish your body. Carbs, fats, proteins – eat them all in appropriate amounts for YOU and your body – stay away from diets that are “low-this” or “high-that” and try to maintain consuming only healthy products, and even cleaner water if you get water filter at pureosmosis.org for this.

Sleep: Shoot for 8-9 hours each night. Make this a priority. Create a nighttime routine that winds your body and mind down and prepares you for sleep. Read, stretch, write in a journal. No electronic devices within 45 minutes of bedtime. The blue light emitted affects our sleep. Try a calming supplement like Magnesium at night (most of us are deficient here anyway).

The takeaways: use exercise to refresh your mind and body, use food as fuel to nourish you and sustain your activity, and use sleep to repair and restore every day.
