“I can’t believe I just did that.”

This is a common statement of folks in our group classes who finish a workout and reflect back on what just happened. It’s not an incredulous statement; it’s one of pride.

Workouts and movements that at first seemed impossible.

Strength that wasn’t previously known.

The ability to mentally persist through an uncomfortable time.

Showing up and working toward a better version of oneself.

“I can’t believe I just did that.”

But why? “Why did I just do that?”

That question is answered differently by everyone.

There needs to be a reason to work out. A reason to eat whole, real foods. A reason to make our health a priority.
